I suspect that this issue is something software related and can be addressed in a future update. I am a frequent user of an app called Just Press Record, and it noticed that audio that I record in the app sounds far better than anything that I record in QuickTime or Voice Memos.įor comparison, here is the first portion of the Gettysburg Address recorded in Voice Memos and in Just Press Record.Īs you can likely hear, the one recorded in Voice Memos sounds very compressed.
